Today’s Quote:  Give yourself some credit, You deserve it!

Today’s Home Focus:  Clothes closet.  Are your clothes hanging up?  Are your shoes tidy?  Can you find your purses and accessories?  If everything is in a jumbled up mess it is hard to figure out what you are wearing and that makes us leave the house late and then we are stressed before the day even gets started.  Even if your clothes area is very small indeed it can be neat and orderly and let you find what you need.  I love looking at the pictures of the big walk in closets with the racks of clothes sorted so neatly but I am grateful if I can find my jeans and a shirt without everything else falling on my head when I open the door.

KTime: For KTime tonight I am going to make a three milk cake

What you need

1-1/2cups flour
1-1/2tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1cup sugar
5 eggs
1-1/2tsp. vanilla
1cup 2% milk (I use whole milk)
3/4cup canned sweetened condensed milk
1can (5 oz.) evaporated milk
1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Combine flour and baking powder; set aside. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, beating until well blended after each addition. Pour into 13×9-inch baking pan sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 30 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Pierce warm cake with large fork at 1/2-inch intervals. Combine 2% milk, condensed milk and evaporated milk; pour slowly over top of cake. (Milk mixture will slowly be absorbed by the cake.) Cool completely. Cover.

REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until ready to serve. Frost cake with the whipped topping just before serving. Store leftover cake in the refrigerator.
